We collect only the information needed to provide Kindly Edit, process purchases, deliver updates, and help customers. We do not sell personal information.

Information we collect

When you contact us or purchase a license, we may receive your name, email address, company, billing details, license information, and support messages. Payment card information is handled by our payment provider and is not stored on our servers.

Plugin and license data

To activate a license and deliver updates, Kindly Edit may send the license key, site URL, plugin version, and activation status to our licensing service. Development and staging domains may also be checked to determine whether they count toward a license limit.

How we use information

We use information to operate the service, fulfill purchases, issue licenses, provide updates and support, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.

Service providers

We use service providers for hosting, security, email, and payment processing. They receive information only as needed to perform those services under their own privacy obligations.

Retention and choices

We retain customer and transaction records as needed to provide the service and comply with law. You may ask us to access, correct, or delete personal information, subject to legal recordkeeping requirements.
